Celebrate Our 60th With Us!
Firmly rooted in tradition with an eye on the future
Park Shore’s 60th
Honoring the Past
Celebrating the Present
Embracing the Future
It makes us so proud to have crossed another milestone in the history of Park Shore. What began as a small travel program from Queens in 1950, then to our current location in Dix Hills in 1959, has evolved into one of the premier day camps that has serviced countless families across Long Island. A lot has changed in those sixty years, but more importantly, a lot has stayed the same. We are still a family owned and operated camp and school that appreciates the confidence and trust families have in us as well as values our staff.
As we enter our seventh decade, we do so with great excitement as we anticipate what lies ahead. We all have a lot to look forward to in the coming year as we celebrate our 60th Anniversary. Stay tuned for information on our upcoming anniversary events, contests, trivia, pictures, videos and so much more as we gear up for the Summer of 2019!

Thank You to our Park Shore families, friends and staff
Park Shore has countless achievements and accomplishments, and of that we are immensely proud and grateful. When we think back on the past 60 years, we are pleased to say that the number one factor in our continued success are the families and staff who have entered our lives and become a part of our Park Shore family.
They say “Home is where the heart is”, and that quotation couldn’t be more true with regard to my feelings about Park Shore. A piece of my heart was, is, and will always be with Park Shore. Many of my fondest childhood and adulthood memories took place on the grounds of Park Shore, while on trips with Park Shore, or at many celebrations with individuals that I met during my time at school and camp. From playing on the gigantic wooden indoor playground during pre-school, to climbing on the firetruck and boat on the outdoor playground, to performing and later choreographing late night routines, to traveling to Canada and Florida as a Superteen and later to Kalahari and Club Getaway as an Explorer counselor, these are memories that will last a lifetime. Aside of the amazing experiences both on campus and off grounds, some of the most important people in my life today were people that I met as a student, camper, and counselor at Park Shore, and I am delighted to be able to attend birthdays, showers, barbecues, and even serve as Maid of Honor for some of the individuals that I met at school and camp and still have a very strong bond with. Park Shore wasn’t only part of my childhood, it was who I was. Every day was a new day to try something different and to be in an environment that was nurturing and comfortable. I am so grateful for the experiences that I had while at Park Shore, and I am thrilled to help you celebrate 60 years of fun, experiences, and most importantly family. Congratulations!Meredith Telese
