Culinary Classes for the Aspiring Chef!
Calling all chefs completing grades 1-5! No passport necessary to join us this summer at the Cooking With Stars Culinary Cottage. Classes will inspire budding chefs to create delicious recipes each week celebrating new food holidays or themes. We will explore the cuisines of Italy, Greece, France, and Mexico as well as American comfort foods. Students will learn culinary & plating techniques plus how to present their dishes. On the last class of each 2-week session, chefs will whip up a meal for their families to enjoy with us. They will receive a chef hat and apron, a food journal, and all recipes are posted online with photos and step-by-step instructions.

What are the dates and hours of this program?
Cooking With Stars has four sessions. Session One: June 28th – July 12th. Session Two: July 15th-26th. Session Three: July 29th – August 9th. Session Four: August 12th-23rd. The program runs Monday – Friday, 9:15am-12:15pm.
What ages is this program for?
Cooking With Stars at Park Shore is for children completing 1st – 5th grades as of June.
Can my child stay a full day?
Cooking With Stars campers can opt to extend their day and participate in all of the amazing activities that Park Shore has to offer. Transportation to and from Park Shore is provided for full day campers.
do you make accommodations for children with food allergies?
Cooking With Stars’ menus are peanut-free and tree nut-free. We can accommodate food allergies including (but not limited to) gluten, soy, eggs, milk, sesame, etc.
All allergies must be listed on your child’s health form and are reviewed by our Health Director. Chef Paula and the Cooking With Stars staff are then made aware of all food restrictions. For any questions about your child’s allergies or food sensitivities, please contact Park Shore.
does my child need to attend session one in order to attend session two, three or four?
Each Cooking with Stars session is a stand alone program. Although we would LOVE for you to attend all summer, if you only are able to attend one, two or three 2-week sessions, that’s fine, too!
