Congratulations on deciding to be a part of the Park Shore family. For those of you joining us for the first time, WELCOME! Your child will experience a tradition unlike any other. And for those returning, WELCOME BACK! We found a way to top last year’s summer of fun. It’s called the Super Seniors.
As a Super Senior, your child will experience all of the great events, activities, and fun that Park Shore has to offer three times during the week. The other two days, they will be leaving the campgrounds to enjoy the many places that Long Island has to offer. From fishing trips and the beach to Splish Splash and Laser Kingdom, the summer of 2017 promises great memories that your child will keep throughout his/her lifetime. As always, we want to stress that safety is our number one concern. The Super Senior staff will make your child our number one priority. Park Shore’s tradition of hiring the best continues into the summer of 2017. The Super Senior staff’s expectations are high and our goal is to give your child the best experience possible.
Dear Super Senior Families,
Well, here we are halfway through the summer already, but hold back your tears because we’re just getting started. Week 3 was our most anticipated week with Splish Splash and Sky Zone; and they didn’t disappoint. The weather was perfect for Splish Splash and the campers were able to go on a number of rides. At Sky Zone, everyone had a blast jumping, flipping, and yes, dodgeballing (I’m keeping it in even though spell check has the red line underneath). I must say, although I was impressed with the acrobatics of our little Super Senior gymnast campers, I was even more fascinated by the talent of some of the staff. I’m convinced they must have been part of Cirque du Soleil before working at Park Shore.read more
How can the first two weeks of camp be over already? Next thing you know, commercials from Staples will be showing off their backpack and folder sales. But we still have a little more summer left in the Super Seniors. During week one, the campers showed off their arcade skills (and pizza eating) at Boomers and then took to the Frisbee and Turbulence at Adventureland. Week two displayed their fishing expertise on the Captree Star 3 and dodgeball knowledge at the Sports Arena. They remembered the 5 D’s of dodgeball: Dodge, Duck, Dip, Dive, and of course Do everything to get Reid out of the game.read more
Dear Super Senior Parents,
After last winter’s wild weather, we’re all looking forward to a terrific summer. The Super Seniors promise to make that summer happen for your child. The campers will experience the best of two worlds. They get to enjoy everything that Park Shore camp has to offer. From Skytrail, Bungee, and Rock Wall to soccer, arts and crafts, and swimming, your child will continue the activities at camp that they’ve come to love for years. As a Super Senior, your child also gets to travel twice a week to many of Long Island’s favorite venues for the day.read more
