The Explorers would like to welcome our August campers.  We look forward to another fun-filled four weeks of exciting adventures, where our campers make memories to last a lifetime.  

Monday, July 26

Welcome new Explorers!  We kick off our 2nd session with climbing high at Gravity Vault in Melville.  We will then head to lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings.

** All new Explorers will take the deep water test prior to leaving camp in the morning.

Tuesday, July 27

Today we will spend the morning with  all the great rides at Adventureland Amusement Park. We will then head to lunch at The Main Event in Farmingdale.  Please wear your travel shirt.

Wednesday, July 28

Today the Explorers are headed to Whitewater Challengers on the Lehigh River in PA.   We will have lunch on the river and dinner on the way home.  Please wear a bathing suit, bring a towel and a change of clothes. 

PARENT DROP-OFF: 7:00 am

PARENT PICK-UP: 8:30 pm

Thursday, July 29 

The Explorers are headed to Long Island Adventure Park. Please wear sneakers and athletic clothes for the day as we’ll be climbing and ziplining.  If you have not already done so, please complete the waiver online and return before the day of this trip.

Friday, July 30

Today we are heading to Smith’s Point Beach.  Please wear your bathing suit (and flip-flops) to camp and bring a towel, sunscreen, and change of clothes.  We will enjoy a picnic lunch.  Campers are welcome to bring extra snacks and games.  No boogie boards please!

REGULAR TRANSPORTATION

 ***Monday, August 2- Tuesday, August 3***

Pack your bags as we are headed to New Jersey’s spectacular family resort.  During our stay we will enjoy all the resort has to offer including time at the lake kayaking, paddleboarding and fishing. We will also spend time at the pool jumping off the cliffs and making memories together.   We will spend the night swimming at the resort.   Please pack 1 towel (for the lake) 3 bathing suits, sneakers, flip flops, sweatshirt and toiletries.  

PARENT DROP-OFF: 8:00am

PARENT PICK-UP: 5:30pm

Wednesday, August 4

Today we will head to our local cinema for a movie.   We will then head to ZaZa in Commack to enjoy a hibachi lunch.

Thursday, August 5

We will enjoy a day of canoeing/kayaking.   Please wear your bathing suit to camp.  You should wear closed water shoes/sandals or old sneakers..  Please bring a towel and a change of clothes.  We will be eating a picnic lunch at the park.

Friday, August 6

All aboard our very own fishing boat, Today we will head to Captree to enjoy a day of fishing and have a picnic lunch.  Who will catch a fish? Please wear sunscreen and bring a jacket/sweatshirt.  Campers can bring extra snacks or games if they would like.
