Week #5 and Week #6

The Explorers would like to welcome our August campers. We look forward to another fun-filled four weeks of exciting adventures, where our campers make memories to last a lifetime.  

WEEK FIVE 

Monday, July 25 

Welcome new Explorers! We kick off our 2nd session with Kayaking on the Nissequogue River.  Please wear your bathing suit to camp. You should wear closed water shoes/sandals or old sneakers.. Please bring a towel and a change of clothes.  

We will enjoy pizza for lunch today. .  

** All new Explorers will take the deep water test prior to leaving camp in the morning.  REGULAR TRANSPORTATION 

Tuesday, July 26 

All aboard our very own fishing boat, Today we will head to Captree to enjoy a day of fishing  and have a picnic lunch. Who will catch a fish? Please wear sunscreen and bring a  jacket/sweatshirt. Campers can bring extra snacks or games if they would like.  REGULAR TRANSPORTATION  

Wednesday, July 27 

Today we will stay cool all day at Splish Splash Water Park in Riverhead. Please wear your bathing suit to camp, bring a towel, and a change of clothes. We will be returning to camp by  6:00 p.m. Parents can call camp at 5:30 to confirm our arrival. Please wear your travel shirt today! 

PARENT PICK UP 6:00 pm 

Thursday, July 28  

Today we are headed to Medieval Times in New Jersey. Campers will enjoy the lunch show as they cheer on the Knights in battle. We plan to arrive back at camp around  5:00. Please wear your travel shirt. 

REGULAR TRANSPORTATION 

Friday, July 29 

We are off on another adventure. The Explorers will spend the day at the Country  Fair in Medford. Campers will use the batting cages, go-karts, mini golf course and play laser tag. We will then head to Friday’s for lunch.

WEEK SIX

Monday, August 1 

The Explorers are headed to XPLORE in Commack. We will spend the day participating in a variety of activities including dodgeball, laser tag and inflatables. We will then head to Miller’s in Commack for lunch.  

** All new Explorers will take the deep water test prior to leaving camp in the morning.  REGULAR TRANSPORTATION 

***Tuesday, August 2- Wednesday, August 3*** 

Pack your bags as we are headed to New Jersey’s spectacular Crystal Springs Family Resort.  During our stay we will enjoy all the resort has to offer in addition to going to Mountain  Creek on Tuesday. Please pack 1 towel (for the lake) 3 bathing suits, sneakers, flip flops,  sweatshirt and toiletries. Please wear a bathing suit and travel shirt.

Thursday, August 4 

Today we will head to Urban Air Adventure Park in Lake Grove. Campers will spend the  morning jumping, playing dodgeball and ziplining before enjoying lunch at The Green  Turtle.

Friday, August 5 

Today we will go bowling and have lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings.  REGULAR TRANSPORTATION
