WEEK #7 AND WEEK #8

Monday, August 8

Please arrive at 7:00 a.m. wearing your travel shirt for an early departure to Dorney Park.  We will eat lunch in the park and dinner on the road at Red Robin.  We plan to arrive back at Park Shore by 9:00 p.m. Parents, please call the camp office at 8:15  p.m.to confirm our arrival time. Wear a bathing suit and bring a towel and a change of clothes.   **CASHLESS**

Tuesday, August 9

The Explorers are headed to Long Island Adventure Park. Please wear sneakers and athletic clothes for the day as we will be climbing and ziplining.  We will be having pizza for lunch.

Wednesday, August 10

Let’s Go, METS! We are very excited to see the team in Queens for an afternoon baseball game.  Please wear your travel shirt. We are due back at camp at 5:30 p.m.  We will update you with our arrival time when leaving the stadium.  **CASHLESS**

Thursday, August 11

Let’s get ready for some ultimate Laser Tag.  We are headed to QZAR in Carle Place.  We will then have lunch at On the Border in Hicksville.

Friday, August 12

Today we are headed to the Cultural Arts Playhouse in Syosset. We will be seeing the show Newsies.  Get ready to sit back, relax and enjoy the show.  Lunch will be at The Main Event in Farmingdale.

Monday, August 15

We will kick off our second week with lunch at IHOP in Farmingdale before spending the afternoon filled with thrills on all the great rides at Adventureland Amusement Park. Please wear your travel shirt.

***Tuesday, August 16 – Wednesday, August 17***

All campers must arrive at camp at 8:00 am for our trip to Kalihari Resort.   The campers will spend the day at the waterpark and the evening at the resort. We will have meals at local restaurants.  We plan on arriving back at camp at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening.  We will update you with our arrival VIA Remind at 5:00 p.m.  Please wear your bathing suit and pack 2 additional bathing suits.   Also, please pack a change of clothes for the evening.

Thursday, August 18

The Explorers are headed to Long Island’s newest sports complex…All Sportz.  We will spend the day participating in a variety of activities that promote teamwork and sportsmanship.  Campers must wear sneakers to camp today!  After working up a sweat we will head to ZaZa for a hibachi lunch.

Friday, August 19

We will spend the day celebrating the friendships we have created, sharing all of the memories, and enjoying our last day together as the Explorers of 2022. We will head to Dave and Buster’s in Massapequa to enjoy a fun day of arcade games and a banquet lunch.
