NEWSLETTER #4 – Week 7 & Week 8
Dear Superteen Parents,
We cannot believe that Camp 2022 is winding down. We thoroughly enjoyed traveling around the northeast with your children and look forward to the remainder of the summer which will create even more wonderful memories. We hope you have a great school year, stay healthy and safe. We look forward to seeing you next summer when we once again will continue the Park Shore Superteen tradition of enjoying our summer while traveling to exciting destinations.

WEEK SEVEN (August 8th – August 10th)
Monday, August 8th to Wednesday, August 10th – Lake George
First, we’ll visit Adirondack Extreme to experience some of the best ziplines and challenging obstacles in the trees before heading to Pizzeria Uno for dinner. Next, we’ll spend the day at Six Flags Great Escape before setting out on a dinner cruise with DJ aboard the Mohican. Before heading home, we’ll take a lazy tube ride down the lower Hudson River through the Adirondack mountains.

Thursday, August 11th – Splish Splash
Time to cool off at Long Island’s very own water park while spending time with friends on some rides and a trip on the lazy river.

Friday, August 12th – Cultural Arts Playhouse
Time to see an off-Broadway production of Disney’s musical “Newsies” with a very special surprise twist.

WEEK EIGHT (August 15th – August 19th )
Monday, August 15th to Thursday, August 18th – Pittsburgh
On our way to Pittsburgh, we’ll stop at the sweetest place on earth “Hershey Park” for some rides, fun, and sweet treats. On our first full day in Pittsburgh, we’ll make our first visit to Kennywood Amusement Park before heading to dinner and the hotel. After a good night’s sleep, we’ll go for an exciting rafting adventure down the Lower Yough River before heading to PNC Park to see the Pirates take on the Redsox. Before heading home we’ll visit the Duquesne Incline to see Pittsburgh from the best view.

Friday, August 19th – Flight Adventure Park (Formerly Flight, Fit and Fun)
It’s time to have some fun with our friends, bouncing, flipping and jumping on some trampolines while listening to some music. Then we’ll head over to a local restaurant for some lunch.

It has been our pleasure to have your child in our Superteen group this summer… We appreciate you entrusting us with your most prized possession. Taneisha, Taahtyana, Philip, Errol, Sionainn, and Mike would like to wish you all an amazing safe and healthy rest of the summer before the start of school.

Park Shore has a limited cell phone policy while in the Superteens division of camp. Superteens will only be able to use their cell phones during designated times during long trips. Posting pictures of others is strictly prohibited. For your convenience our Superteens directors Mike Ziolkowski and Taneisha Corbin will have their cell phones with them. Please feel free to text or call us with any concerns.
