We are proud to say that we were one of the few camps that chose and were able to open for the 2020 camp season. Our diligence and preparation along with stringent guidelines from the CDC, NEW YORK STATE, and SUFFOLK COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH DEPARTMENTS along with the American Camp Association, allowed us to prepare and open for our camp families. The safety protocols that were put into place allowed us to offer a program this summer that was safe, fun, and allowed children to re-enter a world where they engaged with other children safely.

Our experience this past summer fills us with the confidence to open Park Shore Country Day School safely for our students and staff as well as host this Open House. We will be following all of the guidelines and protocols set forth by the CDC, the New York State, and Suffolk County Public Health Departments.

About Steven’s Red Barn BBQ

Steve Askew, Park Shore’s Extreme Adventure Director, has continued his family tradition of cooking the most amazing and authentic Southern BBQ. Steve started barbecuing at age 15 when he spent his summers with his grandmother in North Carolina as well as cooking with his mother and father. Those family recipes and traditions are what inspired Steve to share his cooking with his Park Shore staff family over the years. Now, for the first time, Steve will be sharing his amazing cooking with our Park Shore families and friends at our Open House.
